Im the kind of guy that doesn't like to purchase replacement parts. I have HP DV6000 laptop and needed to change its charger. I recently bought this item because it said that it was HP original charger. Guess what? It was!!! It's new and it works wonderful.

The charger is an original OEM HP charger. It works flawlessly with my Pavilion dv6000. The length is adequate and the power brick is smaller than the original charger that came with my laptop.

Before I ordered this charger, I ordered a non HP charger to save a few bucks. That ended up not being a good idea because after a few days the generic charger got hotter and hotter and made a high pitched sound. Luckily, Amazon is great with refunds. I returned that charger and bought this one.

I bought this to replace my old power cord for my hp laptop that magically stopped working after my wife started using my computer but that's another story. But anyways she bent the wire so much it loosened the wires on the inside so the power cord stopped working. I definitely thought that was the end for my 3+ year old laptop but I checked on amazon and found this baby and double checked the watts and volts, which matched. So i ordered it, it came in the mail, plugged it in and my dead laptop was alive again. No problems since but I also am keeping my wife away from that laptop and having her use my old dell. So if you have to play around with your power cord in order to get a charge buy this!

this item works great. And the sender not only mailed it the very next day and it came way before the due period. farther more if i ever need any more computer needs i will look these guys up first.
